First Booklet Draft

This is the first digital draft of the booklet from the cover to the schedule. The objective of this draft was to see what the sketches look like digitally and make any changes from that critique. It is also to make sure type sizes are adequate, if margins are a good size and if the layout makes sense.

Cover First Draft

The cover is almost the same as the sketch and works well digitally. The only things that are different are that there are more ice chunks and the date and location have been added because they are the only other things required on the cover.

Inside Cover and Table of Contents First Draft

The inside cover is also the same as the sketch but the table of contents is different. Instead of a header saying "Table of Contents" it now just says "Contents" and has a blue rectangle around it. The text is also aligned with the "O" of contents to reflect the alignment in the title cluster. The order of the pages listed in the table of contents have changed from the sketch to be more accurate. Larger margins have been added and the type size has been chosen to be prominent but also not too crowded.

Name and Theme and Welcome First Draft

The image in the name and theme page is similar to the sketch but the text has been changed. The date has been removed and the title cluster has been added. During critique, it was mentioned that the image should match the colour scheme of the booklet, so I chose an image with that in mind. The description paragraph has also been moved to be directly under the title cluster. For the welcome page, a "Welcome" header has been added and the header of the letter has been changed to account for the welcome header. Also, the ice chunks have been removed in the digital version but the formatting of the letter is the same.

Schedule First Draft

The "Day 1" and "Day 2" headers have been added to the schedule along with the conference dinner sidebar. The layout of the schedule has also changed. Instead of having the times and events in separate columns, they are separated with dashes, or the lectures and speakers are listed below the times.
