Concept Sketches

The goal of the following sketches were to visualize my title cluster sketches into possible layouts with additional imagery to go with the subsequent concept.

Snow Concept (left) and Storm Concept (right) Sketches

For the sketch on the left, I took my snowflake title cluster and created a blizzard concept by making "Forecast" look like its buried under snow. For the sketch on the right, I took my storm cloud title cluster and added streaks of rain to simulate a storm. For each of these, I added some lines to show where other text would go on the posters.

Snow House Concept (top) and Melting Icicle Concept (bottom) Sketches

For the sketch on the top, I used my previous snow concept and continued to develop it. I added to it by illustrating how deep the snow is from the blizzard by adding more snow flakes, and a house that's buried under all the snow. For my bottom sketch, I revisited my melting icicle word cluster and added some more icicles above the word cluster as well as more water drops to show more clearly that they're melting.
