Digital Brochure Drafts

The objective was to digitalize and refine our brochure layout sketches. For both drafts I continued with the cracking ice concept from my previous layout sketches and my poster concept.

First Brochure Draft

For this draft, I kept the title separate from the other information, included the lectures with the speakers, added the side bar, added the body copy, and rearranged the ice chunks. In the sketches, the ice chunks were too crowded and clustered together so I moved them away from the text, removed some and made them bigger. In the sketches I also forgot to add the sidebar so I added those to both of my digital drafts.

Second Brochure Draft

In this draft, I tried a new layout for the title sections, moved the lectures to be in the schedule, moved the sidebar, reduced the opacity of the ice and moved them to be behind the text. Placing the ice behind the text and sporadically spreading them around was suggested to me in the previous critique for the brochure sketches.
