For this stage of the project we took our refined title clusters and layout sketches, refined them, and digitalized them.

First Snowman Digital Draft

This is my digital rendition of my snowman concept from my sketches. The feedback I received from the previous critique was instead of splitting the scene, I should just put the melting snowman straight into the beach scene. I did this and also added a frozen umbrella to play more into the idea of it being a beach.

First Icicle Digital Draft

I liked how this draft turned out a lot more than the other and ended up improving upon it for my next draft. I moved away from the idea of adding more melting icicles and instead experimented with melting ice in the ocean. I chose this concept because I believed it was easier understand the idea of climate change and rising arctic temperatures by showing melting and cracking ice in the ocean as opposed to melting icicles.
